OFFICIAL: Pickford loaned to Alfreton Town

Young goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has joined Blue Square Premier outfit Alfreton Town on a month-long loan deal.

Pickford, 18, will link up with the Conference outfit on an initial month-long loan deal as he looks to gain first-team experience.

The Red currently sit 17th in the Blue Square Premier, just three points and as many places above the relegation zone.

An England U19 international, Pickford was part of Sunderland's touring party for their pre-season trip to South Korea last summer.

Alfreton host Hyde United tonight and Pickford is eligible to feature for his new side.

Good luck, Jordan.
