Parker Another Sunderland Target?

There had been a few mutterings of a potential Sunderland interest in Scott Parker, however not much was thought of it.

With Parker now among almost a dozen players that are "expected to be shipped out" of White Hart Lane this summer a possible move back to the north east, with him of course a former Newcastle player, could be on.

Reports are growing that Paolo Di Canio is interested in the 32-year-old England international as he looks to add some steel to his midfield.

Parker is a quality footballer, and if he can stay injury free he'd certainly do a job for The Black Cats and maybe a deal can be done at the suggested 4m fee being quoted?
