'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ji Dong-Won Goes To Germany.

Sunderland forward Ji Dong-Won has ended his nightmare stay on Wearside by joining Bundesliga club Augsburg.

The South Korean has left for an undisclosed fee after making just two league starts for the Black Cats since joining from Chunnam Dragons in 2011.

Last season the 22-year-old went on loan to Augsburge where he scored five goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.

'We have now taken the opportunity to take Ji Dong-Won for the rest of the season under contract,' Augsburg sporting director Stefan Reuter said.

'Because he had a successful time at the Augsburg last season, he knows the team, the coaching staff and the environment. For him there is no settling time and we have therefore decided to transfer for this limited period.'

He only cost 1m and I can't believe anyone would pay much more than that for him given he's not improved since we've signed him.
