Boateng Interesting Poyet?

Boateng Interesting Poyet?

It's being reported that Sunderland are looking at bringing Fulham midfielder Derek Boateng to the Stadium of Light.

Gus Poyet is said to want the player on a loan deal as he tries to strengthen his squad in readiness for the fight against relegation.

Boateng has been unable to command a first team place at Craven Cottage this season and it is believed that the club would be willing to let the player go out on a loan move to resurrect his career.

The reports have come from France but before Poyet can sign the 30 year old, he must fight off opposition from French side Evian and Championship club Watford, both of whom are interested in the Ghana international.

No doubt that he would come here if given the chance, I just cant see Fulham letting a player come to one of their relegation rivals
