'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Good Day For Hughton

Norwich boss Chris Hughton admitted that his side had a good day when it came to results both of their own and other teams around them in the league.

In a one sided game, woeful Sunderland had it lost in the first half thanks to goals from Robert Snodgrass and Alexander Tettey.

Norwich had an easy day of it with things not going the way of Crystal Palace, Cardiff, Fulham and West Brom.

'It has been a good day for us,' said Hughton to reporters.

'More important than those results it has been a good day for us here. Ultimately, the results from now until the end of the season will determined where we are and we have to make sure our results our good enough.

'It is important to have a big a gap from where we are to the bottom three as possible. Last weekend we lost and other results didn't go our way, today they did.'

Norwich have now lifted themselves into 13th place in the league, seven points clear of the relegation zone. They have a trip to Swansea next Saturday.
