Buckley Looks To Poyet's Leadership

Sunderland midfielder Will Buckley is looking to manager Gus Poyet a better player after his move from Brighton.

The 24 year old recently moved to the Stadium of Light from Poyets old club.

And now the £2.5 million signing is looking to get better and better the longer he stays with the Black Cats.

Buckley told Sky Sports: 'Obviously, everyone knows what he [Poyet] did as a player but I have worked under him now for over two years and his passion just comes across to the players in a good way.

'He just gets the best out of me. Hopefully, he improves players.

'That's one of his qualities, and hopefully I can carry on improving now I have joined here as well.'

Buckley made his debut for the club last week at West Brom.
