Everton Duo On Familiar Faces

Everton Duo On Familiar Faces

Everton duo Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway have both said a host of familiar faces at Sunderland will help them settle in having completed season long loan moves from Goodison Park.

With pre season well underway under new manager Simon Grayson, Browning told the Official Site that with a challenging start to the Championship season with Derby County, Norwich City, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United all up quickly, he feels that knowing a few faces at the club will aide both of them to settle in and hit the ground running.

'It is helpful to know a few faces because I have been with them at Everton for a couple of years. Hopefully they can help me settle in and get comfortable. I am excited to meet new faces and hopefully gel in and get started.'

He added.

'There is no easy game in the Championship and it is sometimes two games a week. I am sure the Lads are looking forward to getting stuck in.'

As for Galloway, he echoed those sentiments by saying.

'All the players I know already will definitely help me settle in quickly. I also know Duncan Watmore very well already through playing for England and that will help me settle in. I`m sure all the Lads will help me settle in quickly so we can start our work and have a good season.'

He went on to say.

'The fixtures are going to come really fast in pre-season and then before you know it the season is going to start. Pre-season is really important for any player because you need to get yourself back to a good level of fitness and gel as a team. We need to work how the new manager wants us to play and make sure that come the first game of the season we are ready.'
