Richardson 'Keane' on Sunderland

Sunderland boss Roy Keane has gone back to old club, Manchester United, to sign left-winger Kieron Richardson.

The England International has signed for £5.5 million pounds and thinks the Black Cats can push for a Champions League berth in their 1st season back in the top flight.

Now Lee, i have always enjoyed a home or away pint or 10 with the macams some of the best fans in the land, without doubt. But isnt the article premature/ wrong, doesnt Richardson want to go south closer to ipswich and family. Whilst i agree that it doesnt mean the article is wrong nobody but nobody else has it so it is a bit unlikely dont you think. I think Roy Keane (for me possibly manager of the season all leagues last year) is also getting confused, wasnt it Nugent who was the Toffees fan not Bains. Hope you do well, but obviously not as well as pompey, but either way i reckon we will be playing you in the premiership next season.

Steve Bruce Alert

As unlikely as it may seem, a couple of bookies have now changed their favourite for the Sunderland manager's job from David Moyes to Steve Bruce.

With Sam Allardyce about to be named as the new England boss when a compensation package is worked out, it seems that not everyone is delighted by the up and coming appointment.
