Danny signs new Sunderland contract

Danny Collins has signed a two-year contract extension to take his contract with the club to 2010.

Danny Collins Sunderland`s preferred left back last season signed from Chester City in 2004.

Collins told the Sunderland official site "I`m delighted. I really enjoy it here and I was pleased the club decided to offer me a new deal".

I personally hope he can take his good form in to the premiership.
