Sunderland Sign McShane

Sunderland Sign McShane

Sunderland have completed the capture of West Bromwich Albion Defender Paul McShane.

According to the WBA official site The Ireland defender has joined in 1.5 million deal which can go up to 2.5 million.

The 21 year old defender who can play at right back an centre back has four international caps to his name.

I think this is another quality signing by Keane, he is purchasing a lot of promising young players so we are going to have a good team that will only get better with time.

Good player this lad, we had him at Utd as a youngster and if I remember correctly Fergie wanted him to stay but he wanted first team football and went to the hawthorns that says a lot about his character to me, too many players are wasted away in reserve squads happy to take the money but this lad is different and hes not afraid to stick his boot or indeed his head in like a lot of the primadonnas in the prem nowadays he reminds me of a young steve bruce.
