Sunderland sign Gordon

Sunderland have signed Hearts Goalkeeper Craig Gordon for a club record 9 million pounds.

Gordon has signed a five year deal after passing a medical earlier today.

The Scotland International is Roy Keane`s 7th signing this summer and will take the total he has shelled out to around 26 million, with rumour`s suggesting a possibility of signing Mido this may well go over 30 million mark.

In my opinion Sunderland have signed a superb player here and with the amount of money they have spent this season are showing that they mean business.

Niall Quinn was right to have a go at West Ham and Portsmouth for inflating players prices...... oh wait didnt he spend £6 million on Kieran ******** Richardson and £10 million on a Scottish goalie? God I hope you go back down where you and that scumbag manager of yours belong.

As a Hearts season ticket holder it pains me to see Gordon go. Gordon is a self confessed Hearts fan brought up through the Tynecastle ranks and always showed a great self confidence and belief. Also a player with excellent attitude and a future captain of any side he plays for. Sunderland hae got themselves a goalkeeping great in the making and Hearts have got themselves a lot of much need cash. Good Luck Craig Gordon - a true Jambo.
