Sunderland Sign Stoke Defender

Sunderland Sign Stoke Defender

Sunderland have completed the capture of Stoke Defender Danny Higginbotham. The centre half who can also play at left back has cost the Blackcats 3 million pounds.

Roy Keane has told Sunderland`s official site "I know him personally and he`s a great character. He can play at centre half or left back so his versatility will be a big plus for us."

Another centre half I can only speculate that Keane must be unhappy with some of his recent signings and our current crop on defenders. Personally I think the McShane and Nosworthy partnership is going to take some beating.
