Sunderland Sign Pelter

Roy Keane has confirmed the signing of Jack Pelter. The New Zealand centre half has signed a short term contract at the SOL. Pelter is expected to sign a longer contract when he overcomes his current ankle injury.

Keane told safc.com "Jack has done well since he came to the club but he has a slight injury, we`re looking at that. We`ve only signed him for a month, we`re checking his medical stuff and we don`t expect any problems."

In my opinion Jack is signing for the future he is a young promising defender who will provide cover for now and add to competition for places.

Do really need another centre half. We have Varga, Collins, Higgboatam, Nos, McShane, Anderson and now Pelter. All of these players fighting for 2 places
