Miller should start for Sunderland

Liam Miller should start that is the opinion of Vital Sunderland readers.

The site poll asked the question Should Liam Miller be given a run in the first team?

86% of readers voted that Miller should have a run in the first team. Miller who scored from the bench last Saturday is likely to start today`s game this is due to Etuhu`s Suspension.

Hopefully if he plays well he will get a run in the side.

Miller is a handy player
Lucas
Our midfield is a disaster zone at the moment with all the injuries we have. Without Carlos and Richardson we have no width. Yorke looks too slow at times (especially after 70 minutes) and Etuhu is our only ball winner but at the cost of a yellow card each game. Miller is an able deputy in the middle but we have to remember that this far from our starting midfield which would be in my eyes LM Richardson, CM Whitehead, CM Leadbitter, RM Edwards. Of these only Leadbitter is currently available so no surprise we are struggling. I like the idea of bringing in Kiki Musampa as cover and could be a great replacement for either Yorke or LM. I rate Liam Miller and he should be given his chance in CM for the time being until we get more players back.
