Sunderland Keeper Looks To Fulham

Sunderland Goalkeeper Craig Gordon is looking to the Fulham game to dispel the misery of Sunday`s unlucky defeat to West Ham.

Gordon told safc.com "We should have beaten West Ham but that`s gone now, we need to luck forward."

"We`ve done fairly well at home and we need to continue. It`s a bit early to call the Fulham game a six pointer but it`s a big game, we need to win."

"We feel that we`re not far away, were playing some reasonable stuff and we need to move on and climb this league."

Editors Comment

Gordon is right we need to stay positive and the Fulham game is turning into a must win game. I hope the lads can play a blinder on Saturday and Fulham have some of our bad luck.

Steve Bruce Alert

As unlikely as it may seem, a couple of bookies have now changed their favourite for the Sunderland manager's job from David Moyes to Steve Bruce.

Ninth Sunderland Boss In Eight Years Being Sought.

With Sam Allardyce about to be named as the new England boss when a compensation package is worked out, it seems that not everyone is delighted by the up and coming appointment.
