Sunderland defender out for 6 weeks

Sunderland defender out for 6 weeks

Sunderland Nyron Nosworthy is expected to be out of action for six weeks. Nyron was injured in the Wear Tyne derby at the weekend.

Roy Keane told safc.com "It`s a bad one he will be out for between four and six weeks, it`s particularly bad news for us."

"When he went off I thought it was fairly serious. He`s a tough lad it takes a lot for him to come off."

Editors Comment
It`s a big blow to loose possibly our best defender for that length of time hopefully Keane will stick with Collins who to me has impressed recently at centre back.

Just when you are getting a few key players returning you lose another. Do you think Keane will spend big in the January window and in what areas?
