Richardson Departs

Sunderland have confirmed Kevin Richardson`s departure from the club Peter Walker (Sunderland`s chief executive) told safc.com "We would like to thank Kevin for his contribution and we wish him and his family all the best for the future."

Richardson is believed have made way for the return of Ricky Sbragia.

Editors comment

Richardson has done a good job but it is nice to see Sbragia returning to the club. Hopefully it is another step in the right direction and Sbragia can help Keano get the best out of the players.

he should be in work, a class midfielder, so understated it was untrue. the super poolies could do with him alongside danny wilson..... saying that we're paying chris turner to do not a lot!
