Richardson on the mend

Richardson on the mend

Sunderland midfielder Kieran Richardson has started training with the first team following his recent injury lay off.

The ex Manchester United player has struggled for form since arriving to the SOL but was carrying an injury.

Hopefully a fully fit Richardson emulate the form he showed when he was on loan at West Brom.

Roy Keane told safc.com "Kieran will be like a new signing for us and Russell Anderson is not far away. The fans have hardly seen anything of those two players and it will be a big help to us once they are fit."

Richardson last played for Sunderland back in August and has been out with a back injury.
