Help required ... but from where?

Help required ... but from where?

Keano's signings this season have been a bit mixed with some great (Kenwyne), very good (Kieran) and good (Craig) signings mixed up with some rubbish.

Stokes hasn't really performed, Halford has disappeared, and McShane has at times been playing like a headless chicken. Chopra was never worth £5m while some more experienced players like Connolly have not shown up. Evans was a nice signing but how will the possibility of court case affect him?

We need to bring in some defenders, a left winger so Richardson can play more centrally and help for King Kenwyne.

I'm not in favour of spending huge amounts of money, and I'm not really sure we need to go for experienced players either.

Murphy (Hibs) at left back, Beevers and Spurr (Wednesday), Josh Walker and Adam Johnson (The Smoggies) and Nicky Maynard (Crewe) up front, could help out and be long term replacements for Harte, Yorke and all.

He should also use his ManU connections to see if we can get Phil Bardsley, Danny Simpson or Kieran Lee at rightback. Jonathan Greening is another lad who is in the form of his life and could help out, making better use of the speed of Kenwyne and Kieran.

A team of

Gordon
BARDSLEY or SIMPSON
Nosworthy or McShane
Evans
Murphy
Whitehead
Miller
GREENING
Richardson
JOHNSON
Jones

looks solid enough

Keano also needs to sort out his squad size and some money needs to go into developing the academy so it produces like the Smoggies one does.

We WILL stay up and this gives us a good start for next season too

It good that we have some good kids coming through but they need experience. We are lacking a bit premiership quality at the moment we only have Jones and Richardson with any real quality.
