Sunderland vs. Everton

Stadium of light

9th March 2008

15:00

Sunderland V Everton

Sunderland welcome Everton to the Stadium of Light this weekends Premiership fixture. Roy Keane`s men will be looking for revenge for the rout Everton inflicted at Goodison.

The Toffees will be expecting more of the same this weekend but Sunderland are looking to capitalise on some excellent home form.

Sunderland Team News:

Roy Keane will probably stick with the same team that drew at Derby as he is still without Dwight Yorke, Ross Wallace and Carlos Edwards who are all out injured.

Danny Collins may return to the side after serving his match ban.

Anthony Stokes and Rade Prica might feature after getting a brace apiece for the second string in midweek.

Player to watch: Kieran Richardson

The midfielder will be out to make up for lost time after making his long awaited comeback against Derby last weekend.

Everton Team News:

Everton are without Lee Carsley who is unavailable though suspension.

Leon Qsman is a doubt after picking up an injury in the UEFA Cup tie against Fiorentina.

Player to watch: Tim Cahill

The Australian midfielder is always a handful if he is not bursting in to the box to score he is creating something for a team mate.

Match Facts & Stats

In our last 6 league meetings with Everton on Wearside we have Won 4, Lost 2 and Drew 0.

Last time in the league at the Stadium of Light we lost 0 - 1

Match Prediction:

After the 7-1 tanking we received from Everton at their place I will be happy with a draw this weekend. But if we can somehow scrape a win I will be ecstatic 0 - 0 Draw
