Sunderland travel to the capital in hope of three successive top flight wins for the first time since 2001. The Blackcats are also looking to win a Craven Cottage for the first time since 1989.

The tie is a must win match for both teams in this relegation six pointer.

Jari Litmanen is expected to make his first appearance for Fulham after coming though a recent reserve fixture.

Player to watch: Jimmy Bullard

Bullard has been a revelation since returning to their side after overcoming his injury problems. If Fulham do go down Keano could do worse than sign the former Reading star.

Sunderland Team News:

Manager Roy Keane is expected to stick with the same side that secured victory against West Ham last weekend.

Sunderland midfielders Russ Wallace, Dwight Yorke and Dickson Etuhu are all out with knee injuries.

Player to watch: Andy Reid

Reid has been the catalyst of Sunderland`s upturn in form the Irish midfielder oozes sheer quality.
