Wigan vs. Sunderland

JJB Stadium

18th August 2007

15:00

Wigan v Sunderland

Sunderland are on their travels again this Saturday. The destination is the JJB and all going well we will get another three points. Wigan haven`t started the season well and I expect they might just struggle this season. Expect to see the return of Kevin Skillban he will be out to try and prove a point but somehow a doubt it.

Wigan Team News:

Wigan will be without Ryan Taylor he is still recovering from a broken leg.

Emerson Boyce is also doubtful as he recovers from a hip injury.

Michael Brown is back in contention as he returns from suspension.

Player to watch: Emile Heskey

I don`t know what it is but he always seems to score against us.

Sunderland Team News:

Grant Leadbitter and Carlos Edwards are both out with hamstring injuries.

Player to watch: Michael Chopra

Chopra is in fire at the moment and hopefully he can continue his fine vein of form this Saturday.

Match Facts & Stats

Last time at the JJB The Latics won 1-0 after we conceded a penalty and Roberts converted for the spot.

Ref Watch:

Mike Riley

Match Prediction:

I think if we play as well as I know we can we should get a result on Saturday. 0-1 Away win

Next Fixtures:

Sunderland v Liverpool Saturday 25th August 2007
