Blackburn are visitors for Saturdays game. Blackburn have started the season well and are tipped by many to do well this season. Hopefully Sunderland can continue their recent home form.
We are without Dean Whitehead, Kieran Richardson, Stan Varga, Andrew Cole, Russell Anderson, Carlos Edwards
Nyron Nosworthy is hopeful.
Dickson Etuhu is banned for this match after already picking up 5 yellow cards
Liam was a super sub against Boro and looks likely to replace Etuhu in the middle. Miller will be out to prove a point to Keano so he might just do something special.
Blackburn are without Jason Roberts and Ryan Nelsen.
The veteran midfielder who everyone loves to hate unless he is in your team that is. Savage even at his age is a quality player he tends to be involved in most Blackburn`s good moves.
In our 6 meetings with Blackburn on wearside we have Won 1, Lost 2 and Drew 3.
Peter Walton
I think a win is achievable but Keane needs to make sure we re up for it. 2-0 Home win
