Everton V Sunderland

Sunderland travel to blue side of Liverpool to play the Everton at Goodison Park.

Sunderland are still searching for their first away win of the season after coming close on their last few outings. Everton are a very well organised and robust team who will make it very difficult for Sunderland.

Everton Team News:

Iain Turner is out with a hip injury.

Mikel Arteta, Alan Stubbs, Leighton Baines and Joseph Yobo are all back in contention

Player to watch: Andrew Johnston

He is always a threat with an eye for goal if Sunderland can stop him they might just get something out of the game

Sunderland Team News:

Nyron Nosworthy, Russell Anderson, Stan Varga and Kieran Richardson are all out injured.

Dwight Yorke, Andrew Cole, Dean Whitehead are back in contention after over coming their injuries.

Player to watch: Kenwyne Jones

The big man up front has been our star man for the last couple of games hopefully he can continue his great form.

Match Facts & Stats

In our last six league games against Everton at Goodison we have Won 0, Draw 2 and Lost 4

Ref Watch:

Phil Dowd

Match Prediction:

It will be a tough game against Everton. If our players play as well as they can we should at least get a draw and who knows we might even nick all three points. I think we will draw this one 1-1

I hope Keane thinks the same as you and singles out AJ, because then you'll worry less about Cahill, Yakubu and Arteta who could hurt you just as much as AJ, it could play in to our hands, good luck anyway! i like the mackems! they're a good bunch, hate the mags though!

You wouldnt want to be locked in a dressing room with Roy Keane after a defeat like that would you. I'm sure he's kicked a few arses and you'll bounce back against Derby.
