Ferdinand Swap For Hutton?



This transfer rumour was ignited on the last day of the Summer transfer window as the window was set to close and the swap deal fell through at the last moment.

Anton Ferdinand has been out of favour this season and is now facing a spell on the sidelines as he twisted a knee in the defeat at Craven Cottage.

Manager Steve Bruce is desperate for other options as he has five of his regular starters either injured or suspended this weekend as they face basement club Portsmouth on Saturday afternoon.

Alan Hutton can provide cover for the full-backs and also increase chances going forward as he likes to over lap the midfielders.

Bruce has been linked to Maynor Figueroa also to increase strength in depth for the back four going into the new year.
