Chelsea Swoop In For Sunderland Target Kuranyi

Chelsea Swoop In For Sunderland Target Kuranyi
Steve Bruce has been keeping close tabs on the Schalke 04 striker, but with his wage demands being close to 135k a week this has put doubt into the Sunderland managers.

It has been reported that Sunderland have offered 4m and a package of 85k a week to join the Wearside club to partner the prolific Darren Bent.

The 27-year-old's contract is due to expire in the summer, upon which he could move for nothing. This may keep Chelsea at bay who could afford his high wage structure but may wait until the Summer to snap him up for free.

Sunderland are looking to add to their squad before they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and also bring back some injured players after their last game was postponed this weekend.
