Would Bruce Risk Losing Jones?

Would Bruce Risk Losing Jones?
Who have we got in the pipeline that can replace Jones? Jones has came back from a career threatening knee injury and although he has not been on fire he has still managed six goals in 14 appearances.

Quinn has stated clearly and also Bruce has commented on how important Jones is for this club. The Vital Sunderland poll also suggests that Jones is a key member of the club with 73% voting to keep him alongside Darren Bent.

Sunderland have been linked to Kuranyi and Cabanas but the main problem with Jones is the lack of quality into the box for him to feed off.

If we bought one decent winger such as Adam Johnson and started to deliver in decent crosses we would have no problem with the T&T striker in scoring more goals.

This offer may all be speculation but we need to keep this class of player within the team as we can build on this season and look to push on next year with more additions.

Whatever happens we will keep the Sunderland fans updated.
