Bruce Bids For Angeleri
Sunderland are close to sealing a deal with Argentinian defender Marcos Angeleri for a reported fee of £2.7m.
The Daily Mirror has reported this and the quote given by the journalist sounds encouraging. Alan Nixon added in his breaking story: 'Angeleri and his agent Miguel Pires are due to head for Wearside before the end of the week to tie up the transfer.'
Angeleri, 27, sounds familiar to Alan Hutton as he likes to get forward and overlap the midfield as much as possible.
With the trasfer fee only being around £3m this seems like a good decision as Hutton was being quoted at costing around £8m.
