SAFC Loan Round-up

It was a good weekend for Sunderland's four loanees who were in action with all four avoiding defeat.

Nyrwon Nosworthy (Watford)
, helped his side to a 3-2 win over Championship new-boys Peterborough to secure the Hornets' second home win of the season.

Also in the Championship, George McCartney (West Ham) saw his side beat Leicester City 3-2 in a thrilling clash at the Boleyn Ground.

Dropping down a division to League One, Blair Adams (Brentford) was on the winning side too as the Bees overcame Chesterfield 2-1 thanks to a Dale Bennett winner.

Finally Liam Noble (Carlisle United) helped the Cumbrians to a 3-3 draw with Paul Dickov's Oldham. The Northumbrian outfit had been three goals down.

Trevor Carson (Bury), had a less pleasing afternoon as he tweaked his back in the warm-up against Stevenage forcing him to miss the clash.

Congratulations to all our loanees.
