George McCartney of West Ham continued at left-back for the Iron and recorded a clean sheet in a 2-0 win at Hull City.

Nyron Nosworthy, currently with Watford saw his side beaten 1-0 down the road at Middlesbrough.

Brentford's Blair Adams failed to feature in the Bees goalless draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Liam Noble, on loan at Carlisle United failed to help his temporary side break down Exeter City in another goalless draw.

Cristian Riverson, out on loan with Turkish side Kayserispor has made four appearances for the Super Liga side.

Finally, Asamoah Gyan of Al-Ain has three goals in as many games for the UAE-based outfit.
