Three of the club's young loanees were in action this weekend, with two claiming victory for their current sides.

Blair Adams of Brentford overcame non-league outfit Basingstoke 1-0 thanks to a Sam Saunders goal in the F.A Cup First Round.

Elsewhere in the F.A Cup, Carlisle and Liam Noble beat Alfreton 4-0 with Noble grabbing the Cumbrians fourth goal.

Young goalkeeper Ben Wilson Harrogate Town were beaten by Gloucester City.

Nyron Nosworthy, George McCartney were not in action for Watford or West Ham respectively owing to the international programme.
