 Young Keeper Goes To Gateshead.
Gateshead have taken Sunderland U21 goalkeeper Joel Dixon on a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.

The 21 year old will make his debut for the club in the Vanarama Conference game at FC Halifax Town this evening.

Gateshead are struggling in the goalkeeper department since they lost the services of Adam Bartlett at the weekend due to injury.

There is of yet no indication of when Bartlett will be able to return to action, but in Dixon manager Gary Mills has got a capable keeper who has had loan spells with Boston United, Workington and Hartlepool United.
