Pochettino Felt His Side Deserved Win Against Black Cats.

Pochettino Felt His Side Deserved Win Against Black Cats.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino says that his side fully deserved their three points after overcoming Sunderland to win 1-0 at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Tottenham may have won the game thanks to a Ryan Mason goal late on, but 'deserved win' seems a little wide of the mark.

Sunderland were in charge of the game in the first half and should have gone in at half time at least one goal in front.

And even in the second half, the Black Cats had good chances and were unlucky in the fact that they hit the woodwork for the second time in the game.

Speaking about the win to Sky Sports after the game, the Spurs boss said: "I`m pleased with the players and it was important for them to be confident.

"It was an open game and I think the result was fair.

"It was a great goal and showed how we want to play.

"It`s fantastic when you score a winner like that."

Pochettino is clueless then. Spurs should have been dead and buried by half time. But for our tired legs in the last 15 minutes; Spurs weren't in it. Kane was in Kaboul's back pocket.

Spurs fans don't agree with Poch. We were poor and lucky to get a win. The bad news for you though is that we were poor and still won, you played best you have all season and still got nothing from the game. Relagation should be a big concern for you this season. Good luck though.

No doubt that Tottenham got the rub of the green to take the points but whats deserved and not deserved counts for nothing. We need points now as the pressure is building.
