Leeds Hoping To Extend Bridcutt Loan
Leeds boss Steve Evans is hoping Sunderland will allow Bridcutt to remain at Elland Road until the end of the season and the player himself is reportedly happy to stay.
The Sunderland Echo reports that Bridcutt's initial emergency loan will come to an end after this weekend's game with MK Dons.
Its very unlikely that Sunderland would not let the midfielder stay at Leeds, hopefully the Championship side will be looking to make the loan a permanent move at the start of the summer transfer window. Of course if a cash offer came in from another club before the deal with Leeds can be done then that must be considered.
However Evens remains confident of getting his man as he claims there is a gentlemen's agreement between the two clubs.
Evans said: "I know we`ve got a gentleman`s agreement with Sunderland and I`d like to think that will stay in place. But I know that could change if someone makes them or Liam a massive offer. If that happens then I`ll shake his hand and wish him well.'
