Winger Would Be Interested In Italian Move.
Emanuele Giaccherini's agent, Furio Valcareggi, says that his client would be interested in a move away from the Stadium of Light.

The Italian is currently on loan with Bologna after he fell out of favour at the Wearside outfit and he is into the final year of his contract.

His time at Sunderland has not seen the 30 year old produce his best form, he has struggled in the top flight. But he has produced better performances in his time at Bologna, he has 21 appearances under his belt and six goals.

There are rumours in the Italian press that a move to Lazio is on the cards and that, Valcareggi says, is the type of club that he would be interesting in joining.

"I think that means his price-tag will be more accessible, even if you have to treat Sunderland with kid gloves,' the agent said to reporters.

"They certainly don`t have economic problems and don`t give gifts.

"They will not accept the approach of someone who suggests letting his contract expire would be a blot on the balance sheet.

"I don`t know anything about interest from Lazio.

"It is an important club, among the top six or seven in Italy.

"Who wouldn`t want to play for Lazio? It really is a flattering link and he`d love it there."
